A 10+ on the wonderful warm, welcoming, professional staff, the comfy, very clean & well appointed room. The Japanese breakfast was a new experience, delicious & plentiful with great attention to service. We loved the complimentary 2 hour Temple tour provided by the hotel even though it was in Japanese! And our evening communal baths were wonderful with 2 selections…one green tea & one with infrared stones. Hope to go back around the world to it one day!

Just in front of Horyuji temple, I could visit twice for a short stay. Onsen hot spring baths are small but very relaxing. Breakfast is delicious and well done. Room is just right size for 2 people. Located in very quiet area, so slept very deeply. Private free tour (only in Japanese) was very interesting and beyond my expectation.

Privacy ,cleanliness, clean quiet onsen. Location close to the temple in 1 min, we can't speak Japanese but the staff recommended us to book English tour online in advance. Volunter guide Nakao came before the appointment time waiting for us. The temple in the late afternoon really impressed us.

A pristine and relaxing stay Recommended for city folk who desire a well- rested break Clean air and food and quiet surrounds Directly opposite Horyuji temple Interesting planned events (Buddhism centred presentation and quiz) Front reception staff are pleasant, warm, cheerful and helpful
